Our wisdom and strength spring from our global experience.
Kalo would like to confirm that its BVI business is up and running again following the devastating effects of Hurricane Irma to the British Virgin Islands and many other Caribbean islands. We thank everyone who has been in touch and are extremely grateful for your messages, offers of support and best wishes.
We can confirm that all of the staff of the Kalo BVI office are accounted for and safe. We were swift to evacuate a number of staff and are ensuring that those staying on Tortola have the ongoing support that they need whilst the immediate relief effort and the rebuilding work continues on the ground — the safety and well being of our team has been the immediate priority to date.
We now have a core BVI team situated in the Kalo Cayman office who have relocated temporarily and our systems are fully functional. The core team is supported by staff also temporarily situated in the UK and we will be working together to ensure that client needs continue to be met and that the high level of service our clients are accustomed to continues without interruption. We appreciate the support and understanding from clients at this time and look forward to continuing to serve all our clients’ needs.
Separately, our team is also working with BVI officials to support recovery efforts across the island. We are a proud and active member of this community and are committed to doing our part.
Additionally, we are a member of the newly formed Alliance of BVI Professional Services Businesses which has released a joint statement.
