YUNG’S EXPERTISE INCLUDES: Cross border restructuring, Wind-down planning and project management, Balance Sheet and Liability reviews, Solvent and Insolvent liquidations, managing trading within an insolvency process.
Yung, who works in the Cayman Islands’ office, uses his experience of managing complex restructuring projects (both solvent and insolvent) to help stakeholders navigate through and achieve maximum value from cross-border restructuring (both formal and informal) procedures and liquidations. Yung has over 15 years of experience in managing both solvent and insolvent, and formal and informal restructuring projects. Highlights of Yung’s experience so far has been working on the British Steel liquidation (a trading liquidation) and subsequent sale of the business, working on Nortel liquidations that involved cross-border claims, working with the Greek Central bank during their banking crisis, managing a fund solvent liquidation project for a global fund management group and assisting two UK high street banks prepare for their Ring-fence transfer schemes.
Yung is a Joint Insolvency Examination Board (JIEB) qualified Insolvency Practitioner, a fellow of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), a fellow of the Association of Business Recovery Professionals (R3) and a member of the Recovery and Insolvency Specialists Association (RISA) in the Cayman Islands. Yung also holds a postgraduate degree (MSc in Accounting and Finance) from the London School of Economics.
