ANNA SILVER PROMOTED TO DIRECTOR IN KALO BVI OFFICE

Kalo is delighted to announce the promotion of Anna Silver from our BVI office to Director. Anna has been with the Kalo team as a Senior Manager in the BVI office since April 2017 and has more than 15 years' insolvency experience working with stakeholders of distressed entities across a wide range of industries.

Anna has taken a leading role and played a crucial part on some of the most significant BVI insolvency matters in recent years and her promotion is testament to her exemplary track-record and the high regard in which she is held by colleagues, clients and fellow professionals. 

Anna’s career highlights include leading a team on a multi-jurisdictional assignment involving complex enforcement procedures across the British Virgin Islands, Guernsey, UK, Isle of Man and Germany, with approximately 100 property assets to realise worth over £150 million. Most recently, Anna also played a leading role in the team that announced the successful settlement with Madoff trustee, Irving Picard, in relation to the Kingate Funds. The settlement makes hundreds of millions of dollars available to directly compensate investors in the Kingate Funds for their losses.

Anna is a qualified Chartered Accountant, a UK qualified insolvency practitioner and BVI Insolvency licence holder. Anna also holds a postgraduate diploma in international insolvency law.
